Lens implants for large defects in vision
Refractive Lens Exchange (Clear Lens Exchange) is an operation, where the body’s own eye lens is replaced by an artificial lens. This surgical technique is based in essence on the operation for cataracts and so is considered a routine procedure. The lens is individually matched to the patient.
